Curious if anybody know's the production numbers of the 50th anniversary package Camaro 2SS ?

What ever you do, don't let the dealer install the vinyl... or at least set the expectation it needs to be perfect or we will have to do it all over again. Then let them know it will be a shop of your choice!

I think I'll let the dealer try first. If it's not perfect then I'll take it somewhere else. Thank you

We don't have final numbers yet since the 2017 Model Year (MY) is still going. Over 4100 so far. I've seen 4200 something.

The last order cycle for 2017 MY is week of 4/6. So after that week whatever is in queue to build will be it.

But doesn't that 4200 include all camaros? The actual fifty cars will be much less I'm sure.

From several sources at GM, these sequence/production numbers are unique to the 50th.

Nothing in terms of official documents/statements direct from GM if that's what you're wanting.

One of the sources I'm referencing is BeckyD, can't remember which thread it was posted in honestly. Not sure if it was here or the General build thread. I will attempt to find it and update this post.

I understand that may not be enough info/source for you. But I stand by my statement and feel very confident with what Becky told me. As well as my local dealers.

And 4,000+ sounds about right. The 45th had a Build count of over 8,000. And this forum is only a small sampling of the Camaros in the wild so keep that in mind. As well as some of the 5th Gen Hot Wheels owners I know got similar certificates with their cars.

There were a whole lot more then 4200 Camaro's built by November so those numbers are definitely unique to the 50th.

I always assumed we'd settle around 5000 but I suggest we'll be much closer to 8-10k now.

I know someone who, prior to production, assumed we'd be in an elite class of rare special edition owners. As much as I wanted to say, "Get over yourself", I will just mind my business, enjoy my car, and wait for final production numbers. Personally, I was hoping the number wouldn't top 5-6K. Just a pipe dream though, as I read somewhere last year that GM will produce as many as will be in demand. Sales will likely rise when the weather becomes more accomodating. There are three currently sitting on my local dealer's lot.

Just did a quick search here in MN and there are the same 5 available in a 300 mile radius that I saw months ago. I guess being in the snow belt may be limiting my overall view, but I have yet to see a single one on the road other than mine.

If you're referring to me you can call me out, everyone knows I'm the crazy F1FTY owner, lol. But I don't remember having that mind set. I do know early on, communication in regards to production was unknown. And the only way to make any edition "super elite" is to put a hard cap on total built and order only.

I agree with both you guys in hoping it doesn't go much over 5k, but considering GM backed off on constraints and said they will build them as long as there is demand proves otherwise.

Regardless love the car and enjoy the heck out of it. And curious to see both 2016 and 2017 Build totals.

Yeah the snow might have an impact. There have been 7 total in my area (including mine) and I've yet to see but only one other on the road.
