It runs!

Looks like numbers some numbers tomorrow! Crossing fingers!
Good to see and hear it running again. Looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers she puts down!

Ty 17camaroZl1..

Some numbers today.

Stock lower pulley (ATI lower but stock zl1 size) and 3 inch upper made the same psi as when I just did the blower swap (15psi) made 781 rwhp ... 80hp more with the cam, 1/4 lid spacer, and snout porting still on the 103mm TB. Still doing 93 tuning but putting on my old 9.2 lingenfelter lower. It should carry me into the 800s easy on 93 on the mustang dyno. If you recall the lingenfelter videos had the package at 850 rwhp on 93 but a dynojet. I'd say it's right on par if not better so far. Just waiting on a belt to show to continue. So far I love the lingenfelter cam idle and power.

Great info! Headed in the same direction myself and using your build for validating. Did the engine internals last year, stock blower and ported TB. Sitting on 720 RWHP. Back to Livernois next month for a complete Fuel system, injectors, High side pump, second in-tank pump and flex fuel sensor. Will be using the Edelbrock 2650 and from what Lingenfelter is telling me they are finishing up a 118mm TB and snout. Says that this unit requires a massive TB. Seeing how close the upper pulley is to a 103mm TB on your build i have no idea what pulley combinations would be needed. Anxiously waiting for your larger TB and 9.2 lower combinations. I currently have a 9.55 lower and hope I can base a build on that. Excellent build thread and insight. Thanks for sharing!

Great documentation of your build, thank you for that !

That idle is really nice, what cam is that exactly and do you think it would/could pass emissions if coupled with the OEM catalyst?

Thank you.. was told that lingenfelter used an 8.8 and 3.00 and so did Redline.. but after reading several articles the redline car had the 9.2 or 15% and 3.25. So I do not know what is right I'm sure it depends on the cam and efficiency to what ya need. I did ask Edelbrock and 22,000 rpm is what the blower speed can spin to or should not go past.

I didn't go crazy on the heads like maybe Frankenstein or Land and Speed could of done so far I'm pleased and Sorians words were " hey bud just made 1st past 771 rwhp at 16 degrees, I'm pretty impressed I thought this is where you would of ended up with an eforce going on past experience " the LS3 blower really left some tuners and shops with negative thoughts.

The GT31 cam not sure but I'm running no cats and stock NPP..

I would think hi flow cats and maybe playing with thise 02 extensions could pass possibly or short headers using cats and y pipes.

If it's a visual inspection the make fake cats that are gutted.. and with a correct tune they are turned off not to through a code.

As far as a tail pipe sniffer you got me.. maybe if it was on e85 or be cleaner..

Matt's dyno kills #'s. U running meth? If air was ideal you'd be mid 800's. Unfortunately we are back to muggy and humid weather so.

Swapped to 9.2 lower still on the 1/4 lid spacer and 103mm TB picked up 24 hp just over 800 whp on 93.

Having a hard time locating a 4.75 in silicone reducer to 5 inch..

Trying to stretch a 4.5 inch on the NW 112 is not happening! Not with a 4 ply that is..

2 options wrap tape on the TB and use 5inch coupler or try to fit a thinner piece of hose over the TB and use 5inch to 5inch.

Maybe even weld a lip on TB

So kinda in hold right now.

I found a 121mm (4.75”) ID coupler over on Aliexpress. It’s a 5mm wall so the OD would be 131mm. 4mm over your 5” dimension. You could use this over your TB and then slide your 5” coupling hose over this if you think you can stretch your 5” hose .157”. It’s made by Hosingtech blue 4ply silicone. $5.63

After talking to 3 silicone makers in china I found one to make the the reducer, ordered 3 extra incase some one else has the dilemma. FYI no one in the the states wanted to even try.. after googling it looks like they source out anyhow!

I don’t understand why Nick Williams didn’t just make the throttle body big enough so you could use a 5” coupler so it matches the larger intakes everyone is going to run. I guess a few more millimeters would have killed them or maybe they want to make a bigger one once everyone buys these.
