I did get the PDR out of a CTS-V so fingers crossed it should be the same one it's a different part number vs what was listed above.
Doing this on a vert?

Can anyone with a PDR share a pic of where the camera lines up at on the back of the mirror? I highly doubt that the camera bracket will work on the vert and fully expect to be required to build a custom mount enclosure for it.

Maybe a picture from the front of the windshield and a side shot showing along the rear view mirror would be helpful.

Thanks

it uses little tabs that glue to the windshield similar to the way a mirror connects to glass windshields.

Im going to make some later this week and just buy some rear view mirror glue to glue them on.

So I got my HMI today, however I am not sure that they loaded the PDR software as I do not have the PDR icon, however with my HMI the green USB plug was not connected to anything, (/start of assumption) I am thinking that the green plug goes to the HMI from the PDR I assume this is how the touch commands are sent to the PDR

From the looks of the diagram / camera setup I assume the black USB plug goes to the camera

That would leave the blue plug for the SD Card reader.

As far as the two plugs on the other side of the PDR I have no idea where they go at this point in time.
/end of assumption

I need to call the guys who did the PDR software load tomorrow and find out what's up since I have all my parts on the way.

On the USB or the other two? for the USB connectors I picked up 3 USB extension cables from Amazon, the other two connections I figure I will deal with when the PDR and everything get's to my door and I can get a good look them.

I might try to hit up a wrecking yard and see if I can follow the connections back and see how everything connects.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I just realized that the HMI to PDR will require a male to male connector so I just ordered

I figured this would work to mock everything up and make sure everything works, after I can confirm that everything is good I will look for the factory cables.

I agree I would like to keep it as factory as I can however until I can get some part numbers for the cables I'm a but limited on options.

If you do happen to get wiring from a salvage feel free to post the PN's for the cables

The Service manual only shows HMI X1,2,3,5, 7 being used

hm yeah I am trying to get all the diagrams together, like I said in my post it's strictly an assumption until I can find more details. however based on the PDR diagram I posted X3 on the PDR goes to the Info Display module (I assume X3 is USB) X5 is SD card (USB) X4 is the camera is USB X6 is the antenna X1 and X2 seem to be the larger data plugs.
