The rear end does look a lil' high and large. It wouldn't change my mind about buying one, though.

The more I look at this picture...

The more I'm reminded of this...

The magnificent Caddy Series 6 Sedanette fastback coupe

Yup now you're getting the idea. It is just a fastback coupe, meaning nearly zero deck. Man those classic Caddys are slick.

I had to go with Nay. I just can't get over the rear quarter panels. They're ridiculous. I could say what the rear end reminds me of, but it's pretty obscene and lewd.

I say yay because it's a beautiful car, but I just dont like how high the rear is from the ground as well as how tall the top of the trunk is. In either case if they wanted a hatch or coupe, i'd say lower that trunk line more like a 4th gen. I go for sedan over this though.

Alright. I'm not on board with this at all...

I understand the wants of artists to use uninterrupted, simple flowing lines, but c'mon, dont be like Infiniti and draw a 12 degree up angle from the nose to the tail.

I also understand the car was probably semi-inspired by new aerospace designs, but get it together Cadillac, you are designing a car, not a multiple oblique shock external compression intake! Thats kind of what the profile looks like to me.

As far as fastbacks go...I wouldn't call this a fastback. It hardly HAS a back since its fat ass sticks up so high. If they had kept coming down on the slope from the roof, turned almost straight down at a point somewhere a little above the rear wheel well, and then had a sharp rake down and towards the front, it would look much better I think. It would also give them the opportunity to get rid of those stupid rear lights. It looks good in my head at least, someone could photochop that and make me look like a fool though.

I love it. Whole thing looks great imo.

It's the only car I'd consider over a new Camaro if they were in the same price range.
