HID upgrade

I have the RS hid's and would like to upgrade them to 55w. Has anyone done this? or know if there would be problems with the housing melting. Also I want to switch the DRLs to HID fogs on a harness. Once again will there be melting problems or is this even possible?

i'm not too sure about the 55w, but for the DRLs they more than likely will melt the housings eventually. you could always switch them to LEDs, you'll get almost the same look just won't see as far out as with HIDs

Not sure about the headlights either but you can get the LS Foglight Housing which the lens is made from glass. And I also have seen people use HID's for their Fogs. No issues but the housing for Fogs are different from the DRLs.
