Totally diff product class, coatings are permanent.....and require a machine polished perfect surface first.

Crystal seal is A better alternative to wax, not permanent coatings, don't overthink this.

So, brand new car, will be cleaned and buff as perfect as I can do. Good product?

I've had blackfire crystal applied about a month ago (I think) and had 2 rinseless washes so far. Everything still looks good, except that when I touch the surface, I can feel that it is not as smooth as it was when I first applied it. Is it already time to start over with Dawn?

So you can buff/polish BF Crystal Seal ceramic coating after several months to remove any imperfection or swirls from touching the paint?
