Lightbulb New Camaro Z/28 Prototype Spotted Without Wing

A less-disguised prototype for the all-new Camaro Z28 has been spotted running on Michigan public roads without the rear wing it wore during its Nürburgring tests.

What's interesting is that so far, all the Z/28 prototypes spotted testing on public roads have been without the large wing spoiler. And every time the prototype has been spotted on test or race tracks, the wing has been fitted. Perhaps this is an indication that spoiler wing will be optional?

Perhaps they're trying to drop the price of the Z/28 model?

That would be my guess. The GT350 uses iron rotors and seem to work fine.

The team that developed the much-heavier CTS-V saw fit to use the big iron rotors, too...saying the C/C did not provide bang for your buck in terms of performance vs the massive 15.5" standard rotors.

If it keeps costs down I'm all for it!

IMO there may be a Z/28 and a Z/28R the R car will come with the rear wing the CC brake's and the higher HP motor, like the GT350 and the there R car what do you think, this way they will have a Z/28 that sales more units, say 2500+ a year and in the R car may be only 200-400 cars a year. (with a 80K price for the R )

I just don't see them having 2 different engines in the Z28.
