IMO think Gm is making bad move
dropping the Cruz and Impala even if production numbers are low. And think it is dumb no 2 door offerings except the Camaro and Corvette. Guess i am just getting old.

A lot of articles today about how Lordstown production is ending but GM will keep the plant in a "state of readiness."
Read into that how you want. Lordstown's biggest disadvantage is that it's apparently only suitable to produce small cars due to the way its line is configured.

The problem is Lordstown uses a ground track system from the 1960s rather than the overhead hangers you see at the more modern plants. I guess if GM was to build anything but a compact segment car there, they would literally have to tear out the entire production line and install a new one.
