Yeah, all you have to do is know how to use a screwdriver in order to install this. This is probably as easy as installing floor mats in the car.

Just need a 9mm, 11mm and 13mm socket, a crescent wrench and teflon tape.

Received mine in the post today.... very nice looking work. Installed it and now the car is asleep for the night with battery disconnected.

Very excited to see if this gives me the progressive throttle response i want instead of the off/wait/on lightswitch throttle the car came with .

a) Yes, we have had several heavily modified cars and the TB does its job. At part throttle, there are not many mods with the influence a TB can have.

b) Not likely, lots of tuned customer's cars too. In any case, we'll go and try to match your calibration by customizing the TB depending on results, as long as you hang in there with us, we'll get you the optimum flowing TB your calibration will accept. We'll take care of shipping both ways.

Thanks,
Interesting... can I send you my stock core TB on the front end?

He's saying that the throttle is so messed up that in order to get up the hill from a start, you literally have to dump the clutch, floor it, or stall the car.

Mike,

Is there any major difference/benefit on sending you a Katech TB or a Stock TB?

Like for example if I have my Katech TB on my car but am very interested in your TB Rework and send you my Stock TB...would either of them come back from you guys looking the exact same?

Thanks, standing by...very interested.

Pretty much a "plug&play" I assume?
Several models to choose from, which would fit (or be recommended) a 2018 1-SS?

Looks simple enough to install. A few extra ponies, and minimizing the lag would be nice.
