New ZL1 owner questions.

That's one of the drawbacks of the permanent film or 3M type rock guards; They will leave etch marks along the edges where its applied. You could have the edges wetsanded to reduce the appearance. Its a small price to pay, but if I were driving a car like the ZL1 everyday I believe that I would take my chances and use the 3M protective film.

If it is near $40k or more you can pass, and find something similar for as low as $32k if you are willing to wait and travel to or have it shipped from a different state.

FYI rear tires only lasted me around 10-11k. The rear outter edges do not wear as quickly as the inner edges the way the suspension is setup to handle corners. Visually inspect the inner part of the tire and make sure it still has good tread depth. Hope this helps.
