Thanks. I'm looking forward to driving it at Sebring next week.

I abandoned GM products 30 years ago and this car brought me back. Nothing touches it in track performance for the price.

Glad to be a part of the community!

The 20% off comes STRAIGHT FROM THE MSRP BEFORE DISCUSSING ANY OTHER FEES OR TRADE IN.

The best deal in my area (which is still too high, freekin Vettes just went to 23.8% off on December 3) is the following;
$70,695 MSRP
$58,400 PRICE DEALER WILL SELL FOR PLUS TAX, TITLE AND DOC FEE.
$12,295 Dealer discount (17.4% off MSRP)

I'm waiting for 25% off or I'm buying a Vette.

What most buyers don't know is dealers can provide a straight discount which is better than the rebate stacking bullpoop that GM trys to sell us.

Do you think most of the new 2019 ZL1's sitting on dealer lots are posted on web sites like Auto Trader and Car Gurus or is there a better place to look?

I used car gurus to find lowest priced new in the area (based on days on lot), then used Chevrolet.com to find color I wanted in my area, and got price-match.

Autotrader
Car gurus
Cars.com

Use to shop nationwide to get the bottom prices and get a local or close enough dealer to price match.

I'm expecting at least 18% off msrp when I pull the trigger this month or next.

I understand you take the discount off MSRP, what I am asking is why you think that 20% is the starting negotiating price. I think there are so many variables, market, car popularity, how long they have had it..... I do not understand how you can claim 20% to be the starting point. Both cars I had looked at had been on the lot since early this year making the dealership a bit more inclined to move them.

you wont save 10K on an 18 with deals right now. I paid 57K so if you can find a 47K one then that wouldn't be bad. Doubt it would happen. And if it did id be worried about how it was treated. You cant beat the deals right now.
