I think the main issue is startup versus normal cruising. With the right startup procedure, the NPP valves can be closed to help reduce that initial startup growl and then adjusted once you're on the road.

Without NPP, no way to reduce that initial blast of (glorious) sound.

Josh,

Didn't get done with the work week in time to get my system ordered Friday, got the part #'s all ready to call Phastek and/or RDP first thing Monday to do that....can't wait to get it on the lift and installed!

I'm considering a modest pulley upgrade and tune over the winter and may do headers.

Two Q's...

1. What will I need to fit this system to Kooks or ARH headers??

2. If I do headers....would I likely want to add the resonators at that point?

Appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

Answered your PM, but I think resonated with the headers is a good decision.

Yep.

Non-Resonated for now to maximize sound...but when I add the headers I'll likely swap out for resonators. One of the things I like about your system.....can easily swap out components to change the results.

Thanks Josh!

I sure hope you will be making a complete system for the convertibles? Sound is amazing!

Phastek has some great installed photos on their site. Would love to see a video from them on their impressions of the system.

They have a video of the touring axle back here:

Though not sure if you were looking for more than just the sound
