I wonder what the TOTAL production was of both Gen5 and Gen6?

You mean over the aggregate sales volume len125 quoted? Where would those additional Camaros be?

So about the same amount of Camrys Toyota sells in 2.5 years. Nice! Jokes aside, 70k a year is definitely not bad for the segment. The problem is the segment is dead/dying. Even the Mustang is struggling today. Look at Mustang sales in 2005 versus 2015 and then 2024 (each year is a new generation). You’ll see there is a significant decline with the start of each generation versus the prior generation. I honestly can’t blame Chevy for canceling the Camaro and I wonder if the Corvette and Mustangs days are numbered.

I think the problem with camaro sales is that they've always competed against their older brother, the corvette.

The current GM leadership never showed Camaro any love. It could never be allowed to steal attention from Corvette. They never spent any marketing money on it. Ford does not market the Mustang either. Look at what advertising is done on Challenger/Charger/Hellcat anything. GM management is content to switch to EV and let IC vehicles sunset with little respect to the name plate or history. What a shame.
