Is a cat back system worth it if I have headers and an Axleback?
I have looks headers with high flow cats and an aftermarket axle back. Will a cat back system change the sound at all or will it not make much a difference?

The stock exhaust isn't a restriction. The headers add any power gains to have, and the axleback is for the sound.
With that said, I did add a catback system because I wanted to replace the ugly crushed pipe section ![]() So it was worth it from a sound quality of life, but it's not for any performance gains. |

You have NPP? I have a NON-NPP car so it wasn't a big loss to toss the suitcase for an axleback. I'll be doing full exhaust someday lol. If I had NPP and was a daily I think I'd leave it alone. It's worth more $ and can quiet the car at some key moments. Is your car a daily?

Completely depends on what you are changing it to.
I have catted headers and upgraded my AWE Touring axleback to a Resonated Touring Catback. That definitely makes a difference, because its a resonated midpipe section. Spoiler alert, its still super loud, but I have no drone and it sounds AMAZING. That being said, if you are just swapping the midpipes for your standard X pipe section, you might notice a slight change in sound but not much, and there definitely won't be any power gains.

I have Flowmaster American thunder with the NPP but it’s not doing it for me so I’m either going borla or corsa not sure if I’m keeping NPP since it usually cost 1000 over the non NPP version.
