Update:


Wildhammer made me an offer that I put on hold because I FINALLY got in touch with Morimoto.


Well, my experience with Morimoto has been in the top 5 of the worst experience I have had with a company.
No return of emails.
No return of phone calls when using their return a call when on hold. This was over a dozen, or more attempts!!!
No processing the return request automatically after following the email steps they sent. Then no response to that email.
No indication that the credit card placed in your account drops off in 72 hours if not used. Again, it was there for them to use and they did not so it dropped. Not my fault your employee(s) did not follow through and complete the RMA process.
State shipping is 2nd day air UPS, then send it signature required via FedEx ground only to have it sit in GA for 3 days.
Request the signature required be removed, since it is a $20 part and you did not require a signature on the $500 lights, only to be ignored on that too.


Their people seem to be taught to fake customer care but their actions show they don't give a damn!!


All this, except the recorded phone call they have, can be documented.

I will use those for credit card charge back on this transaction.

Final update.


Wildhammer refunded me for the purchase and sent a return label once I proved I submitted and paid for a warranty RMA from Morimoto.


Morimoto sent me the 2018 "extra" harness/resistor and I think I was finally able to make these things work.


Since I do not daily drive it, it is hard to say if it is fixed. Based on the know issue and this harness supposedly being the fix and my checking it every or every other day to see if it has issues, it has NOT.


So, Wildhammer is no longer on my do not buy from list. However, be careful what you buy and the return policy on it as with any company.
