Fake AcDelco Spark Plugs on fleabay

I seen a great deal on Acdelco iridium spark plugs on fleabay number 41-109 19.00 dollars free shipping. I looked them over and they looked legit enough, installed them and all heck broke loose. Misfire's in all the cylinders, then one cylinder went completely dead. I thought what could have happened? I pulled all the plugs back out, 1 plug the center electrode was actually melted to the grd strap!

Called Autozone to see if they had a set, they did I went got them. We started comparing the plugs side by side, without a doubt the fleabay plugs are fake! Lucky I did drive far, no damage except to my wallet and brain for being so stupid to buy anything on fleabay anymore.

Be careful buying anything on Fleabay. I tried to report the item as fake, they don't have a option for that...................buying local from now on. I normally do except things I can't find local.

As a matter of fact, they were great parents.

If you didn't post such BS, maybe people wouldn't dick with you.

Well there's an old saying that still holds true to this day for pretty much all things....... If it seems to good to be true, 99 percent of the time it is. Hint, hint........

Yep and I thought that's a crazy good price AND I figured if they looked wrong I'd send them back. They looked great until you put them side by side with a real Delco plug. I can't imagine how many people bought these then lost their minds trying to find why their car runs so bad. One of the plugs actually blew out the porcelain around the seal, there was black carbon on the coil boot.

Just curious, were the plugs you removed Delco's, and if so why did you not notice a difference then before installing them? Will you show pictures of what they look like so we can know what to look for?
