ZL11LE Suspension On SS

Will the ZL1 1LE Spec Handling Component Suspension Upgrade System fit on a SS without the ZL1 1LE-Spec Multimatic DSSV® Lowering and Handling Suspension Upgrade System? Or should I just go with the 1LE Spec Suspension?

yes it would fit but are you going to be tracking the car or just a daily driver?

The ZL1 1LE Spec Solid Rear Cradle Mounts and heavy duty shaft systems or for drag right, not necessarily for suspension?

Sounds like you're talking about 3 different kits:

1) ZL1 1LE Spec Handling Component Suspension Upgrade System vs. 1LE spec system. What exactly are you trying to do with the car? Both of these kits do different things. The ZL1 1LE kit basically upgrades most of the suspension link and knuckle bushings while the 1LE kit does stab bars and spring/damper upgrades. I believe they should both fit an LT car.

2) The ZL1 1LE solid cradle mount kit. This replaces the rubber cradle bushings with aluminum ones and will also make the rear more stable on a road course, but has since been discontinued and other members seem to not be able to find it anymore.

3) Some drive shaft upgrade kit?? Never hear of this before from GM, but if it's a thing I assume it's just a driveline upgrade for cars that are making more power and wouldn't be suspension related.

Preciate the efforts, so from the first one, the ZL1 Suspension Upgrade is more of a complete kit than the 1LE Spec Suspension?

I wouldn't say one is more complete than the other. Together it looks like both of them make a complete kit, but on their own they each do different things.

The ZL1 1LE spec kit replaces all the suspension links and knuckles (basically all of the existing bushings). This will reduce you tire compliance under sustained load. For instance, when cornering hard, the wheel won't move as much from the high side-load at the contact patch (i.e., less change in camber/toe) but since you'll still be on stock springs and stab bars the ride and body roll will still be fairly close to the stock setup.

The 1LE track pack is only the springs, dampers, stab bars, and rear toe links. This will stiffen the ride and body roll of the car, but won't necessarily help control wheel deflection under load because you'll still have most of the softer bushings in the suspension links and knuckles.

So is it possible to do both, and if not which would be best to go with?

I would assume they both would fit on the car together, but probably best to go through the suspension part number megathread to make sure everything you're getting will be able to bolt together. For instance, it looks like there are 2 versions of the 1LE track pack. The V6 version gives you the V6 1LE springs/dampers/bars (stock stuff from the regular SS), and the V8 1LE pack gives components from the SS 1LE (stock stuff from the ZL1). I'm not sure off the top of my what what, if any, differences to dimensions there are between those two.

As for if you have to pick one, I have no data but I'd guess you'll notice more of a difference with the 1LE track pack than the ZL1 1LE spec kit.

I think I saw a note somewhere on one of the sites selling it that you need to swap some brake hardware for the 1LE track pack to fit due to the shape of the new bars, so might want to do some research on that, too.
