A8: AFM disable after 18-NA-355?
I had been using a Range AFM disabler in the hopes that I'd avoid the A8 shudder issue. I ended up having that problem anyways, and just had the TSB done.
What are your thoughts on whether or not I should keep using the Range? On one hand, it didn't appear to help with shudder. On the other, even if the new fluid fixes this issue, maybe disabling the AFM will increase LT1 longevity... Cheers - John

I just had the new flush done, using my Range, I am hoping it will help without going back and forth from 4 to 8. So far so good.

Only about 5400 miles.
One other thing I'm thinking about - if the new fluid is only a temporary fix, I'd like to know ASAP while I'm still under warranty. So keeping AFM might help with that angle. Cheers - John

I’ve has the Range on my car since 500 miles. Now has just over 10K. No issues.
Was ordered in early April of 2018, delivered late June 2018.
