I love the way my ZLE drives. I feel in control of the road. Coming from a gen5 Camaro and. GS Corvette the ZLE is way better. The 6 speed is a joy. Couldn’t be happier.

Same here and couldn’t agree more! Wish my C7GS had the ZLE six speed even with the MGW I installed on my GS the stock ZLE is that good!

I also don’t mind the suspension at all it’s what I expected it to be. I’m glad I waited for the killer deal on my 18 ZLE.

The magnetic ride suspension with the different driving modes gives a ride that will change to what ever mood you are in. The A10 tranny is just plain AWESOME! Top it off with creature comforts on the inside, Bose stereo, Recaro seats and you will want to drive this car all day long.
If the spoiler is your only complaint, the 1LE spoiler will bolt right into the same holes on the deck lid. Now go get yourself a ZL1 and really put a smile on your face.
I'm just asking, a 700 rear wheel hp 2015 Z28 is not as fast as the new gen 6 ZL1 ? Is it because the direct injection responds quicker ?

Yessa, nice 2015 Z28 and I really think like some folks on this thread that a ZL1 would be a good choice for you. It rides very good, has power and the amenities that your Z28 doesn’t have. I just got mine this past March and enjoy driving it every chance I get! To be honest I really don’t like the wing on the ZL1 1LE and prefer the spoiler that is standard on the ZL1 but I understand that people’s tastes are different from mine in that aspect. I just don’t know if you would be happy with a ZL1 1LE as it was designed to be a track car like your Z28 and would have the harsh ride as compared to the ZL1. The A10 auto might be the way to go for you but I really like the M6 in my 2017 so I could shift for myself and don’t care if the auto ZL1 is faster than the manual. Guess I’m old school on shifting and manuals! Good luck on your decision and either one would be a good choice!!

LOL....damn!!!
Can you point me to one spoiler that will retain the rear view camera built into it?

Search for my review. Feel free to pm me if you wish to discuss. I have 26k mi on my z/28 and 4K mi on my zl1. If you’re: Track focused - zl1; luxury focused - zl1; ride quality focused - z/28; theater focused (I don’t have an exhaust) - z/28.

I think thread was titled “zl1 shakedown”. Hope this helps!

I hope to keep my Z-28 and buy a 2019 ZL1 or 2019 ZL1-1LE (automatic if possible).

No dealer will let me test drive either.

If anyone lives in the St. Pete/Tampa area, please let me know.

I found two so far ... 2018 ZL1 and ZL1-1LE ... about the same price.

Which is the better deal ?

The unmodified one with PDR for less money.

Definitely Gunkk I agree with you that the 2018 that isn’t modified would be the better deal of the two!
