Soler Performance Ported 91mm TB Any Good? Any options?

What has been your experience with the Soler Performance ported 91mm TB? I'll be adding the upgrade to my 2022 Camaro 2SS. I'll also be adding the following additional upgrades.

• K&N Performance Intake Kit Model: GRP-KNN71-3092

• 250-609 AIRAID THROTTLE BODY SPACER Model: 250-609

TB Spacers are snake oil.

+1 for Soler TB's. We use Mike's TB's on our stuff. Great product along with great customer service.

+1...

I assume the MSD + 103mm is not needed until a H/C package?

King speaks gospel. 100% agree. I know you didn't ask about that. But these are the best bang for the buck mods on the LT1 and will add a very noticeable bump in power without adding headers. Headers would make it even better.

Im running a soler performance 107mm which is just a 103mm that has more flow or something. It hasnt steered me wrong yet and it was one of the cheaper options out there but is a quality product imo.

My brother put one of those on his C7 Z06 and it made the timing go negative at idle. Fwiw it had a Katech 103mm on it prior with no issues. I wasn't going to adjust the torque model to get the timing back up since it was already done with the Katech and shouldn't have changed imo. So he sent it back.

Was going to say exactly this. The Solar 91 is good, but an OEM 95 for less money is even better. Paired with a LT2 manifold and Rotofab intake, perfection. This is exactly what is on my mod list when my warranty gets a little closer to going out lol.

The only possible exception is the Rotofab, only because JLT is working on new intakes for our cars that should be available in the next few months. After I see testing on those I will make my decision.

Now that I've gotten some feedback on this part, I would also like to know if adding a 250-609 AIRAID THROTTLE BODY SPACER would benefit anything? or create additional issues?

As Megahurtz pointed out earlier, there is no benefit. It would be a waste of money.

There is a big difference between spacers and adapters.

Spacers do nothing unless your talking carburetors.

Adapters are a requirement for installing the 95 mm LT5 Throttle body on a Gen6 Camaro or ZL-1.

3 reasons, Rotation, Bolt pattern, and taper from 95 to 87.

Now one would say why put a 95 mm on a 87 intake.

Answer Think, the Shaft and Blade take up some of that 87 mm so a 95 will flow everything the 87 intake can.

The 87 TB can't flow what the 87 intake can.

It flat works.

We have 95mm TB and adapters in stock all the time as we use them in Many of our builds.

We offer them in our Entry level Flex fuel upgrade also.

Ted.
