If you look at the one you bought, there are 2 clear/white plastic clip on the USB card reader unit, one on each side. get a small tiny flat head or something that you could stick in there and push it. Then pull it out and unplug the connector. That's it.

On my Camaro the white tabs only get me the ability to pull the old module about half way out. The wires aren't long enough to come out through the opening. Arg. Looks like I'll need to take the whole center console out? Or maybe I can lift it up enough just by undoing the rear bolts?

When I pulled mine, it's have about an inch of slack. enough for me to unplug the old one and plug the new one in.

i Just did this on mine and there wasnt enough wire to get the plugs out of the back.... there is a plastic plug holding the slack of the wiring harness under there so i had to take it loose (once i got the console loose and raised up a bit) to get the new module plugged in.

there are two bolts holding the rear of the console down (under the plastic covers) and two more on each side under the knee pads... pretty easy operation overall.

Thx for the info. I've been trying to install mine without having to take the center console out with no luck.

Have you guys been able to create playlist in the SD card?
