I'll probably be going Turbo...But, from the manufacture's point of view... I don't think anyone is making anything cause everyone is waitin for their warranty to run out... So I guess they may be thinking...why build one now if no one is gonna buy it now. But..I think that if they build one, some people will get it even before their warranty runs out...including me

I understand everyones concern across the board. Its like a tease game. I don't know for sure but the last time the instry tried this was probably the 80's. Anyone know for sure? The point is that the platforms they had to work with for V6's before this were really crap, they were not even worthy of competing anywhere in any market world wide. The only reason people bought them was because they were still Camaro's. They averaged what? 180hp, if that. Caddy couldn't do it because that name has never rested in the same arena than the Camaro. An Morehead is right, there are several companies with SC prototypes. But, past woes have them nervous an consumers are concerned with cost vs. value.
This is why I think now is the time to change the industry mentality, because this platform is the most outstanding V6 to come out of America in a long time an the Camaro is the car to lead the charge. But if no one says anything here or to the company then nothing will happen, again.

An I apologize for there being no poll, lost power when I started this and didn't think it was created. Till today. I also had not added the poll yet.

This V6 platform needs to be tested and used to its maximum capacity. There are old imports with less displacement and worse engineering with direct bolt-on kits available. It's ridiculous. We have the best product, but we don't have the support yet.

The Camaro has the potential to dominate 2 separate markets. It can walk over cars in the pony class and above with the right aftermarket parts. We've seen this repeatedly in our membership. The Camaro can also dominate the 300-hp range with the right support. It might not seem as dominant to people who focus only on GTs and R/Ts, but the less powerful V6s are up against top tier vehicles from all over the world. 300 horses is as far as many companies go, and Chevrolet should fight above them at what level they deem unattainable or undesirable for whatever reason as well as on their level. Let's make our LLT-powered beasts tear up some fully loaded imports.

Let's make every Camaro a Camaro worth fearing. All we need is a tune so we can get started with what could someday be the classic V6 Camaro, the one that started GM's tradition of dominating all classes, from LS to SS. Let's one day look back on Camaro V6s as dangerous. Talk about them as if any V6 Camaro could have 800 horses and slaughter anything. It's possible. We just need some aftermarket support. Who wants to be the first company to slice into this massive pie of sales?

If it's Eaton, I'll take it. Give me some boost!

Show me 5000 and we will make your supercharger. FYI Magnuson is the Aftermarket arm of EATON. EATON will not look at anything less than 10,000 units.
