GThaus exhaust with headers

Wondering how the gthaus sounds with some headers. I got kooks with green cats and the gthaus has the npp valves and I’m looking for a video that has headers (catted or not) with the gt haus exhaust show some revs with valves open and valves closed idle also.

Anyone have any thoughts? Think it will be to loud in California my goal is to be able to put this is quiet mode and not worry about the cops bugging me and put it in loud mode and roar around town

There’s very little info out there about this exhaust. The videos below will be about the most you’ll see unfortunately.

The ZL1 is at the beginning and end of this video(on dyno before headers):

https://youtu.be/ULvspPEYW3w

Here it’s at the beginning of the video (after mods and getting flashed but before the dyno):

https://youtu.be/LVNDxFRpm1Q

Here it’s at the beginning of the video on the dyno after the mods:

https://youtu.be/DaEJ8dIMvsY

This is a short idle clip. The important part is the comments. The owner said it had terrible drone between 2000-2400 rpm and sold it. This was on factory exhaust manifolds. That comment sealed it for me for this exhaust. It’s expensive, tips are terrible and it drones. Good luck with your decision.

Yeah we had a guy (probably one your referring to) that sold his stainless GT Haus setup on this forum because of drone. Really too bad… I really want a titanium system but not spending $6K on a system that drones lol. Also, AWE tips > all other tips

If I were to go with Borla(S-type with headers sounds good) their tips are not gonna cut it. They somehow seem smaller than factory I guess because there is no flare at the end? If I keep the suitcase those tips aren’t either. Luckily some exhaust shops have AWE style tips that they can swap for me, my favorite by far as they fill in the diffuser arches. New tips and a painted suitcase will do.

Another one that I have my eye on is Bullet Performance. The tips are 4.5”, they offer a valved system but just like GT Haus there is very little info out there. The prices went up and they don’t have as many sales as before. The website has gone backward now. It doesn’t reflect the discount when there’s a sale and you can’t select the valved option. There is no mention of the x-pipe anymore.

https://bulletperf.com/en/AgXvmb

You could get this in 2021 during a sale with the valves and x-pipe for around $1500. Oh well.

The difference in sound between open and closed is substantial. This is on a 5th gen but would imagine it’s similar to ours.

Very interesting design! First time I’ve seen that one. Wish I could see that locally. Do you know where that’s built? Never heard of them before.

From my understanding Saudi Arabia. Look them up on Instagram. I don’t have social media so it’s hard to see posts. I use gramhir and greatfon to view Instagram posts.

For anyone that sees this thread that wants cat delete pipes I think this may be the only company left.

I don’t have social media either so good to know there are options to help with that. Good stuff!
