Mobile Ham / GRMS Radio

Has anyone mounted a mobile (not handheld) Ham / Amateur / GRMS radio? I have 2017 SS 6M and can’t imagine a good location

If you don't have the wireless charging pad, a good location would be behind the center console little cubby area. For my 4x4, I just use a handheld Baofeng UV5R, compact and lots of range.
