Engine Replacement, CT6 Swap Possible?

Hi, I drive a 2016 V6 RS Camaro with the 3.6L LGX Engine with the 8 speed auto trans.

I pretty much blew up the motor so now I'm working to get it fixed. My friend is willing to sell me a 3.6L Lgx motor from a 2016 Cadillac CT6 with a 3.6l LGX for a nice discount and I'm tempted to buy it but I have no clue if it'll even be able to work for my tranny and car. I did some research and so far from what I can tell it looks like the same exact engine that goes into my car and it also has the same specs.

So if anyone have any more information on this and maybe know if it's possible and can give me an better understanding then that would be very appreciated! Looking to get my car back on the road soon.
