First gear from dead stop limiter

I am not sure if I am describing this correctly. I have a 2020 SS convert. if I floor it from a standstill, when it hits the top end of first gear, it seems like it hits a rev limiter for a second. The car seems like it stops pulling for a second before shifting into second gear. It doesnt do that in any other gears. Is there a way to not have this happen in first and just shift smoothly into second gear? I have tried to search, but not sure if asking the correct question.

spinning and hitting either the rev limit or tq limit. Need a tune or better tires.

This happened to me before but I think it was traction control. There was another thread on something similar to what is described, and most said it was traction control.

I have not tried track mode. I wonder if the traction control thinks the tires are slipping just before it shifts to 2nd gear.

I've had this happen as well, I caught the Traction Control light blinking when it happened, I'm guessing the tires were getting loose... It is very disconcerting as the car really pulls the power back... I'm still on the SS stock run-flats...
