One thing about the 2.3 I'm still wondering is, is there an "overboost feature" like the EB4's in the ST vehicles? If so that's good for a about 9% increases in both hp and tq. Taking the 310/320 into account, that would allow for a quick 15sec jump to 338/349. "Overboost" is all in the tuning, so obviously the aftermarket won't care if it's there or not as they'll blow right by it anyway. But, perhaps Ford Racing will release a warrenteed tune with the feature present.

What is the weight difference between a v6 ATS and a gen 5 camaro v6? Couldn't we look at that then look at the gap between the v6/v8 camaro and come up with a rough weight?

The weight difference is roughly 250 - 300 lbs

In all honesty no one is going to know if it is faster than a BOSS or 1LE until someone does a same day, same driver comparison with those cars present.

What are you talking about? Almost every comparison that I have read between a Mustang and Camaro were tested against each other on the same day back to back by the same person.
