2019 LT 1LE 4cyl turbo
I have a 2016 1SS, been a great car... still on original battery lol. But my question is concerning a 2019 turbo 4cyl. Are they decently reliable ? As far as known engine issues ? Gf is looking at a pretty nice one but, I told her have no clue on 4cyl engine reliability Can you guys or girls help ? Thanks

I have a 23 with the 4 cylinder and so far so good, i know its not a long time but my wifes daily is a 18 GMC Terrain, it has the exact same motor except 20hp less, its a great motor so far, the only issue that i have seen with them is the vacuum pump which is bolted to rear of the cylinder head that supplies vacuum to the brake booster. Apparently it lets go and causes issues within the engine. I dont know how many are affected by this but as you probably know, only issues come to the forums and not the millions of motors made. The Pump is only 60 bucks at Rock auto for the GM one and it does come with a gasket, i changed hers out as a preventive measure and got another for this car, also the turbo units are the same gm part number. Its also with a8 great on gas.

If you haven't driven it yet, I'd give it a test drive. The LT 1LE cars came with the same suspension components as your 1SS. Great for autocross but depends on how much one is willing to handle the ride
