winter drivers check your summer only tires for cracks. ya a camaro on summer only tires in the snow or below freezing isnt going to outperform anything on all seasons.

My car won't hibernate for the winter. I have a garage but if its nice out and the roads are clear of slush, heavy salt, ice or snow i will make use of my Camaro. I put on some all seasons 2 months back. I am paying to much for this car to just sit all winter on a tender. I bought a POS Saturn SUV for the snow and bad weather for $1700. So far 2 years still running good and sits on the street as my backup. The potholes here in NYC are just getting worst and worse each year, i fear this more then anything else and already had one tire golf ball up over a hole.

This is really the truth of it!
The Southern guys asking how we can live with ourselves...each Spring is like falling in love all over again. The anticipation, the planning, the wonder, and the excitement. Permagrin comes back! |

Don't miss any of that. Lived in MA up until '13 and it'd kill me putting the IROC into a storage unit for the winter. No more of that. Love not having to shovel 3x a week and fairly mild weather comparatively speaking.

I’ll drive mine until the first snow, which means salt and sand on the road. Looking forward to a mild winter!

While I am sure if I had the financial means to have the car as a toy I would do the same as you but I couldn't imagine buying a new car and stuffing it in the garage for 4-6 months out of the year.

Mine has been waiting on a tender in the garage since the end of October. Hopefully I can get her out by the end of March or early April. Only time will tell, though. :/

I store my Firehawk for the winter and put snows on the Camaro. It's my winter beater!

I put mine away a week ago today. But when spring comes and I get to pull it back out again, it’s like the best birthday present, every year. I’m like a retard on an ice cream cone. Permagrin for weeks.
