Whipple recommend the NGK ltr6 ix-11 plugs, gapped at 0.035" .... any comments?

After 6,000 miles I'm getting starting to get a slightly rough idle when cold (whipple blower, 9.5psi, otherwise stock). I'm guessing plugs are dirty, they're OEM plugs I think now at about 16,000 miles .... so have some NGKs coming to change them out. The car otherwise runs great once warm, 560rwhp.

Stick with the Recommended plug but you can open the gap to 040 to reduce fouling.

TR7IX is what came with my Whipple kit. That being said these engines tend to have some random misfires when cold, especially on E85. I wouldn't be too concerned.

7s will foul on a mild blower only combo the 6 is what I recommend.

I have 7k miles on my setup with a 7 heat range and it runs fine. But I will be sure to keep that in mind the next time I change plugs.

I have read that they have shed tip of the electrode in random cases...i cant recall where i saw that but its somewhat interwebs lore. im sure poor tuning\circumstances aided in that happening but just wanted to check with more experienced folks before i buy.

Providing the tune is correct, fuel pressure is correct, Octane is correct, AFR is correct, timing is correct you will never see one fail.

Ted.
