There is no such thing as a wire with zero resistance at room temperature. It's marketing nonsense. Spend your money on something else.

so I also tested wires with my multimeter and got 0hms resistance

here a thread where he got 4 whp from the wires....

https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...ght=granatelli

they are very nicely shielded and protected from the heat and that is also a good thing...

not saying they are worth the money but every little bit does help and if they are better then I like them ….. I was just wondering if coil packs would be better than stock as well...

Low resistance doesn't equal 0 resistance. Your multimeter isn't sensitive enough. 4whp is inside the error for a dyno test. I know these guys make their money off this, but as an engineer, this is just bogus.

ok but isn't less resistance better?
and yes 4hp is within the noise but they replicated it back to back....
maybe its bs I'm not sure but evidence is building that it is not all bs..
I am sure they are not worse than stock, maybe I wasted my money I guess Ill never really know...
I would love some real definitive testing if possible, but I don't own a dyno...

It's snake oil basically, there is no horseplay to gain by changing wires. If your ignition system is sparking enough to burn off the gas and air in the cylinder changing to a wire that in theory is going to allow more spark isn't going to burn off more gas and air that isn't there, more spark doesn't equal more horsepower that's just 1/3 of the equation.

I will be able to give you an answer when our drag strip opens in mid March.
I am going to do a comparison with these & stock plug wires.

No new plugs, that has zero h.p. gains, plugs are used to tune with. You read plugs to see if they are to hot or to cold. If you don't have the correct heat range in your car for you mods then you loose h.p.

25,000 volts.. it will arc across air, resistance in wire is negligible.

Yep. Like I stated before my old car ran 8.80 @ 154 mph on stock coils and wires, didn't need aftermarket ones because I wouldn't have gained anything.

I am an electrical engineer & your right about your first comment, but wrong on the last comment. What Metals Make Good Conductors of Electricity? Copper and Silver Are Most Common. Silver is the best conductor of electricity because it contains a higher number of movable atoms (free electrons). Aluminum Works Well, But Has Risks. Gold Is Effective But Expensive. Steel and Brass Alloys Have Special Uses. Come on people do your homework before you just throw out an answer.

Go to a drag race & see how many racers are using stock plug wires & coils....
& again, I'm out, you guys are to smart for me....LOL

Depends on the type of car it is, highly built trailer car probably not, every other car there probably all of them. When it comes to these highly built trailer cars there really is no "stock" wires because they isn't anything stock on them anymore. People are making 1500+ on stock coils and wires, I guess you know more than they do about their own builds.

What did he say that was incorrect. His comments and you comment have nothing to do with each other. He didn't say anything about what metals are good conductors. Just that it's not 0 resistance.
