Keep us updated. I ordered the middle of September, then again in November and was told a spring delivery. I've been holding off bugging the dealer till the new year, which is now so I will let you know what I find out.

Drop by your Dealer late next week. They can check and see if your order has been picked up.
Once it has been they can give you status updates once a week, either Tues or Thurs?...so you know where it is in the order cycle.

Eventually you will get a Target Production Week.

I ordered my SS the day before x-mas and had to wait until Feb for a TPW.

Make sure they can show you with a printout that your car is at least Status 1100 -Order Placed at Dealership
If they cannot show you that means they have not even ordered it yet - could be they don;t have an allocation for one?

Status 2000 is what you want to see - Order accepted by Chevrolet.

I’ve been told they have actually 2 allocations. The dealer had to look into this as to whether they could order the car. The plant is on shutdown. I have to return on January 17 to get what I assume is status 2000. We have done paperwork and warranty and all that stuff. I have the yellow receipt with the details of the build.

Not gonna lie but I am nervous in a way that I might get effed over somehow. I’m a huge GM guy having worked as a grand master tech for GM for about 10 years. All my family drives GM.

This for myself is a very BIG deal. It’s really a dream come true.

I did not want to inject any negativity into your moment
It sounds like your dealer has you covered.

I have been there, the excitement, the wait.... talking about your Camaro at work everyday for 3 months until your co-workers see you coming and turn around and walk the other way

Keep us updated.
Cheers
