I’m coming up on my next oil change, and I prefer Mobil 1 FS. On their website they have the extended mileage, fuel economy, and the regular and a few other ones the regular I used in my last car. Should I bother with the extended mileage ones?

no just use the regular mobil 1 what weight you gonna use 0W-30 or?

I recommend the factory AC Delco oil filter and Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 5w-30. Whatever you buy needs to be dexos approved for the warranty. Keep your dated receipts and record the date and mileage when you change the oil. If you have engine problems down the road and you are changing your own oil you will need proof that you performed standard maintenance.

I was lazy and I was typing Mobil 1 FS which meant (Full Synthetic) 5W-30 Dexos Approved.

You answered my next question about the filter.
I planned to put 5W-30 Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Dexos Aprroved oil in it, when I went on Mobil’s website, they offer a few different versions of their Full Synthetic oils.

You can just run Advanced Full Synthetic. M1 extended performance is great if you are looking to run long miles.

I use Mobil 1 5W-30 with a Mobile1 or K&N filter.
