Carrollton/N Dallas here as well.
Just picked up my 2016 Camaro 2SS Convertible with 640 miles on it a couple of weeks ago. Still nervous taking it out every time after reading all of the posts about how thin the paint is on these cars. Any of you guys get Xpel added to your car locally? How much did you wrap, what was the cost and did they do a good job. Would also be curious if anyone did this themselves. Thanks, Tex

I had SunTek done on the entire nose, entire hood, 1/4 up the front fenders, mirrors and door cups and I want to say it was around $1,200. They do pre cut templates but do a pretty good job. There are a couple of others I have heard really good things about (Apex Automotive and Speedshield). I know Apex does good work and hand cuts material so there are even fewer edges left exposed but I think they are a little more expensive as well. Mine has a few seams here and there but for what I paid...it has been well worth it! Its already saved me several times. I have taken a few hard hits from debris but the film saved the paint. Hope this helps. |
