LSC's Facebook page is a group anyone can join. Personally, I have never seen anyone given a bunch of crap for asking a question, although there is a lot of kidding that goes on and hopefully one can see through that.

Paid LSC Members have a separate FB group, and this club is primarily made up of members in the DFW area, although some are also in more remote locations. The group has sponsors who provide some good discounts, and as a group they do many events throughout the year and you can also get some very solid advice from diehard Camaro enthusiasts. There is a $30 fee to join that will pay for itself many times over if you are interested in Camaro only club events or avail yourself of the special discounts from sponsors. I am an old guy, but have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this community.

Carrolton/N Dallas

Carrollton/N Dallas here as well.

Just picked up my 2016 Camaro 2SS Convertible with 640 miles on it a couple of weeks ago.

Still nervous taking it out every time after reading all of the posts about how thin the paint is on these cars.

Any of you guys get Xpel added to your car locally? How much did you wrap, what was the cost and did they do a good job. Would also be curious if anyone did this themselves.

Thanks,
Tex

I have had 3 cars done at Clearcoatfilm now called DFW Clear Bra. I had SunTek done on the entire nose, entire hood, 1/4 up the front fenders, mirrors and door cups and I want to say it was around $1,200. They do pre cut templates but do a pretty good job. There are a couple of others I have heard really good things about (Apex Automotive and Speedshield). I know Apex does good work and hand cuts material so there are even fewer edges left exposed but I think they are a little more expensive as well.
Mine has a few seams here and there but for what I paid...it has been well worth it! Its already saved me several times. I have taken a few hard hits from debris but the film saved the paint.
Hope this helps.
