Oh indeed. However, there are a few trusted individuals out there that we can trust to do legitimate independent testing of these products. Nonetheless, drag racing is irrelevant to me so, I largely base it upon a series of factors rather than just one. I understand, however, that faster times or higher trap speeds equate to an increase in power but that area under the curve where day-to-day driving occurs, is also very important.

Like how quickly the "CAI" system can get ambient temps after a stop or heat soak, and how long it can maintain ambient temps before any kind of heat soak starts to take over.

That is the exact problem I am having with my intake and why I am looking to swap out.

VR says get an instant 10-20hp just by removing the bottom of the stock air box. I'd like to see someone test that out.
