2015 1SS 1LE...Dealer offered this
I took my car into the dealer today for 15k service and decided to see what they would offer. To my surprise, they offered 26k. Car is senior owned and pristine condition with only 15221 miles. Does this seem fair. It is above KBB by about 2400 dollars. Any comments?

26k is a good offer, I would take that.

They offered you $26K cash or trade in?

1LE 5th gens prices are on the way up. I was recently offered 30K cash for mine with 7,000 miles...no sale!
Also the last owner contacted me about getting it back over the weekend. I told him even at 35K, I don't see what I could replace it with at that number. |

Just wondering what sparked the offer... did you ask them or did they just offer it?
Do you want to sell? If so then go for it. Seems like an easy deal.

Its a good time to get the most for your car. Just make sure you can get a good price on whatever replaces it. I think the market has inflated due to covid and supply issues.
I put in an offer on an SS a few weeks ago as it was a good price. I didnt get a response, then a week later the ad was reposted 4k higher. A week after that the same ad again for another 6k higher. One question though, how do you have a 1LE without NPP exhaust? I thought NPP came standard with the package. |

When I bought this car they were hot. I couldn't believe a dealer would order one without it. At the time I just figured I'd put aftermarket on. Old guy never did, and in a strange way, I like it quieter. Sounds great when you romp on it. |

I just don't drive it as much anymore after I went blind in my right eye. Still can, just not as spiritedly. Figured since I'm paying insurance on it every month, I asked for their "five minute appraisal". They know the car. I bought it there and service it there.
