Because when they have enough subscribers, or whatever Facebook calls them, they can get ad money for space on their page, I believe. Enough to pay for the kit they're giving away. Even if they don't get money, everyone who 'friends' that page, has 'friends' that will then see their products, that's social media advertising in the virtual viral economy.

and yea, why would the widebody not fit on '16 to '18's? I don't want one, but I'm curious.

The Front fenders on this kit are also compatible with the 2016-18 models. However, the front splitter and splitter extensions are currently being developed on a 2019. We can only confirm fitment with 2019 until we have a chance to test fit them to a 2016-18 model later on. We'll make sure to keep you posted for updates.
