Studio RSR 4-Point, OMP HTE-R seats, Schroth Pro-FI 3x2 harnesses installed!

Thought I'd share with the group, I have finished my install and thought I'd answer the basic questions first.

The Parts:

Studio RSR 4-point bolt-in cage
Schroth Harnesses Profi 3x2
OMP HTE-R XL Seats
BK Sport seat mounts
BK Sport side mount brackets
BK Sport sub strap mounts
Sparco Sliders
Shrader Seat Delete Kit

FAQ:

Airbag Light does come on, it doesn't bother me, it is very small
Airbags still deploy in a wreck, as has been proven on the track, unfortunately.
The seats are very comfortable and look great
The blind spot monitor system still works
The side mirrors stop working when you remove the driver seat (module is there)
The Sparco slider levers are too long out of the box, so I had to shorten them by about 60mm
The BK sub straps pulled the rails together too tight, so I had to slot their mount holes.
The car's weight was down to 3680 with my Braile 5lb battery (I did not weigh every single part) before the 4-point install, my guess is it's back over 3730ish now, I will check again.
The studio RSR 4 point cage is easy to install but START with a new set of Cobalt drill bits with drilling lubrication oil.

STUDIO RSR Install Steps:
1) Remove front seats
2) Remove back seats and plastic
3) Put the rear support bar in, then the main hoop, bolt together
4) Mark your spots on the rear bar mounts and drill in place
5) Bolt in the rear bar, no check position of the main hoop
6) Drill a few mm forward from where "center is" on the front hoop
7) Drill and bolt down

*use plenty of oil, use a punch to get started, low speed on the drill bit to make it last*
*the metal is very, very, very thick and rigid, take your time
*we used fishing line to pull the bolts through the drilled holes, vs. trying to fish a washer and nut on the backside and blindside of the bolt.

Good luck!

Now you have the same problem I have.

Cleaning the inside of your rear window!

Looks great man!

May I ask why 3" instead of 2" for the belts? Personal choice?

The Schroth ProFi 3x3 are 3" on the chest, 2" in the hip/crotch region. I just thought that made the most sense.

Safety, wanted them to match & Yes, I take a lot of passengers out on track as a driving instructor.

Not for most, I agree. Unless you're regularly tracking the car, this is a bad move.

Net/Net is unknown exactly, but I'm pretty sure about 45lbs.

Should put the car a bit over 3700 on the scales now.

Those items will be beneficial for what you do with the car, keep your passengers out of your lap while you are trying to drive.
