All the freaking time dude! I have the weirdest shit try and race me like mini vans, saturns, pos civics it was funny at first but now its just like "cmon man this thing makes more power in 2 cylinders then you're whole engine".

Had some stoners pull up along side me in a Tahoe rev their engine and ask me if I wanted to race and called me a ##ssy.
I said, Hey man, sell me some weed.
At which one of the stoners replied, we ain't got no weed. (they were all hittin' off vape pens...so you tell me).
I said, sure you must, cause you got to be high to talk that stupid.

Since then I have been using the "Sell me some Weed" line on the stoner idiots.... Seems to work pretty good....

It does seem that when I drive the SS around that it "inspires" other people to drive faster as well, even if I'm not driving particularly fast. I've had a few that I've come up on and I can tell accelerate and weave in and out of traffic like they're tying to evade me or something, pretty funny.

A slight side note-

You are cautious, and park where a walk is necessary to get to the store, so you park rather far away from the entrance, avoiding spaces that are closer. You chose a space with room to open the door(s) is adequate so as not to get anything scratched or dinged.
Coming back, you find some TOOKUS has parked right alongside so as to make it a PITA to get in/out of your car; and theirs is typically a rustbucket-beater-car.
Happens more often than not with me, regardless what I'm driving.

I do notice that family sedans, trucks and vans suddenly think they are sports cars and like to cut me off, speed past me, and act like total jackasses. Not sure what they're trying to prove. "Ha, I'll show that Camaro, watch this..."

While on a road trip from Austin to Dallas, within 20 minutes, 2 different cars wanted to race. Crappy cars not even worth my time. Anybody that would pose a challenge would rather just cruise.

Mostly people just try to get me to rev the car, which I usually oblige. I've only had bikes, a RS7 Performance, and a GTR try to line up with me. Everyone else doesn't even bother.

My particular area is tuner central. They either don't know what a ZL1 is, or don't care. I get the occasional Subaru or Civic trying to putter past me, but after I blow their windows out that they appreciate it for what it is and back off.

Completely agree with you Cgocifer!! I guess those people like 'throwing a gear' to us Camaro folks. Most of the time it happens to me I just ignore the idiots because it seems they get pissed off that you are ignoring them and won't race!
