Borla ATAK with CF Tips
Ordered a Borla ATAK with CF tips (non-NPP) from a vendor on Amazon who swore they actually had one in stock. Been hearing horror stories of people waiting for months for Borla to ship. Guess I will find out soon and post pics of install. Part #11921CFBA. What is the best way to deal with the NPP valves that I won't be using now?

I am no expert and not 100% familiar with it as I havent taken my stock npp off yet, but I think just unplug them, tuck/zip tie the wires and pull the fuse. (?)

What is the process to weld in the GM valves? Bore a hole in the Borla tips and install the butterfly?

Can't remember which one, but of the axle backs comes with brackets that you mount the actuator to. Seems pretty slick.

Well it look like the Amazon vendor actually had it in stock. Got a tracking # today and it should arrive on Thursday.

I almost tried this route and physically measured it out. The stock NPP valve's diameter is 2.4" OD, while Borla's outer pipe is 2.75" OD. While you can do it, I would not recommend adding the stock valves to Borla's axleback since it will bottleneck the exhaust flow.
