So did you tip your tinter?
I am just looking to find out if I am cheap rotten bastard or a normal rotten bastard.
Did you tip your tinter, vinyl wrap guy, or Xpel installer? I didn't, and I am questioning if it was expected. |

Yes 50 bucks but he’s done work for me about 5 times and he knows I’m anal when it comes to my cars and he takes care of them like a professional should. I appreciate it.

I tip my barber, my bartender and yes my tinter. Been to all these guys numerous times and they all take very good care of me and do an awesome job. You can afford a camaro you can afford to tip.

I tip, but didn't the tinter. He ran a professional shop and charged a pretty penny. I might be more inclined to tip the little guy who's scraping by.
Bartenders, waitresses, valet etc generally make peanuts, deal with abuse, and work their butts off. I have no problem tipping them unless the service was really poor, in which case they'll get one reflective of it. |

I normally tip when the salary is close to minimum salary.
Tinter get paid more tha minimum, so I don't really tip them. Fast food, barber, etc, will get tip. Mechanics won't. I'm not cheap, I'm just going with logic. But as said above, if I was going to the same guy all the time, maybe I would. |
