Infotainment screen brightness
I've searched for a long time to see if this has been asked before and haven't been able to find a discussion that addresses my specific question.
The only thing about my new car that I'm not completely happy with is the infotainment screen. Mine is very dull and dim, no matter what the time of the day and whether the headlights are on or off. I have 2 other cars with the same type of system...one aftermarket and the other a GM OEM system...and both of the screens are bright and vibrant. I know that the angle of the screen creates some issues, and I've tried to get as low as possible in my seat to see if I can get to a good viewing angle, but I'm convinced I'd have to be about 4 feet tall for that to happen. I guess my question is, is this just the way the screen is? If that's the case then I'll deal, but if it should actually look bright and vibrant and I just have a bad unit then I'd want to take it back to my dealer and see if it can be replaced. Any helpful comments will be greatly appreciated.

Did you turn up the brightness using the knob on the left side of the dash just above the 3 HUD buttons?

The center console screen almost looks like it has a dull sheen. I'm guessing it's just the angle, but I can't believe they would build it looking as bad as it does and not make some type of correction. My wife has GMC Terrain and her screen looks great. Granted, it's actually angled up towards the driver.
