DIY "Elixir" rinseless wash

I traded my RS today for a 2SS!!!

This car needs my full detail service and did not have much wax protection, if any. Rain was coming tonight. The car was really dirty and I told the salesman not to wash it. So for a quick wash, I got it home and I mixed up my own DIY "Elixir" rinseless wash solution. Gave it a nice rinseless wash with the good ol' Eagle Edgeless towels.

5 gallon water
2 oz Echo2 concentrate
1/4 oz Reload concentrate

It came out nicely! Now it has a bit of protection until I can give it a full polish job! Here's the bead shot:

Wow, looks great. I didn't realize that Ech2o and Reload were so effective at such high dilution levels.

I mixed up the Echo2 at the same dilution rate as Optimum No Rinse for the rinseless solution. I added too much Reload at first. I was having to buff off some Reload after drying. So the next batch I cut back to 1/4 oz and that still may be a bit high. I did have to buff a little bit.

What dilutions would you suggest for a rinseless with a 3.5 gallon bucket? I've only done rinseless with pure Ech2o before - never with Reload added in. My only experience with elixir in the past has been with waterless wash with a sprayer and always had great results, but I've switched almost entirely over to rinseless instead.

The true "elixir" created by Merlin is not used in a rinseless procedure, it is used as a quick detailer, drying agent, or topper… It's mixed up in concentration and put into a Windex spray bottle.

Yep. And I was out of Wolfgang Uber Rinseless, my favorite. But I did have some Echo2 and some Reload. Boom.

And this wont cause any swirling? How dirty can the car be when using tis method?

There is a limit to how dirty it can be of course, but if you get the surface sufficiently wet with solution and use a clean side of the towel for each wipe, the risk of swirling is less than with a 2 bucket and mitt wash.
