Custom Tuning Shops in Northern VA

Does anyone know of a good custom tuning shop in the Northern Virginia area that can do a custom tune for a 2017 Camaro SS?

Hi, I know this post is old but did you ever find a shop?

Pro Speed Autoworks in Chantilly does engine work but takes their cars to another shop (he would not tell me who) to do the dyno/tuning.

Hey Nicul15, I actually just got the car back in September and was searching for local performance shop. The car has the A8 torque converter shutter and I am waiting for Chevy to release a permanent fix early next year before I do anything that could jeopardize the warranty.

My first thoughts were stage 1 with CAI (Rotofab), ported 93mm TB & ported IM with a tune and see how it goes. The shop I mentioned in Chantilly, VA said they could do this work but for Stage 1 I think I can do it myself, based on all the helpful information in the forum, and then just find a shop to tune it (still not sure who Pro-Speed farms tunes out to yet).

But as I mentioned, I am stuck in this damn limbo state until Chevy gets this A8 TQ issue nailed down. The dealer did the first flush and reset the TCM and it seems great for the time being (little over 200 miles now since the service) but I feel pretty confident the problem will eventually return.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Paul

Do you have a windows laptop?
Just buy hptuners and get a remote tune. That is a popular combo no need for custom tuning imo

I heard the shudder is fixed when you tune the trans anyway
