Supercharger whine

Is there a way to make the sound of the supercharger louder besides an aftermarket intake without doing something substantial like channing the pulley size?

Just got the car two days ago, I haven't done anything.

just unbolt the lid and take this out. This and switching to a rotofab intake

Not a perfect comparison, but this is a before and after when i removed the plate and installed the rotofab vs. stock

Won’t the warranty be void if the plate is removed from the supercharger? It is a 2021!

It is 4 or 5 bolts holding it to the lid, theres no electrical connections to the lid or plate. If there is a concern on your end. It's super easy just to put it back on if you have to take it to the dealer. To me, any sound deadening steel removed from directly over the supercharger is good for not only sound but thats less steel sitting there retaining heat.

Yes Jax I know but maybe the person doesn’t want to do that because of the warranty issue. I was just making an observation and they are free to do what they want with their ZLE.��

understand but I can't possibly see a reason how a dealer would demonstrate it would void a warranty. I doubt any dealer would even notice its missing.

Why do you insist on making duplicate posts for each and every question you have??? Yes I am terrified of losing my warrantee.
I cannot see the pics... How hard is it to see that there is a modification when you pop the hod?

they are videos to youtube i posted. you will never noticed unless they take off the supercharger lid, even then I doubt they even look at the underside of the lid.

Is that the only reason why that steel plate is there? To lower the wine? Also aren’t those bolts that you remove to take the lid off not reusable? I thought i read that somewhere....

Yea it's a sound deadening plate. And the lid bolts can be reused, the torque on them is measured in inch pounds. The bolts that mount the supercharger to the engine are supposedly torque to yield (TTY) bolts.

Seems strange to me that they want to make the supercharger quite. Who buys a car with a roots supercharger and doesn't want to hear it?
