Just lntegra R's were factory performance vehicles and people didn't think they would be valuable for 40 years. I have seen two sell for $20k and both over 100k miles.
Most of got beat up, big winged or crashed. Hard to find a good clean one. |

Dang, I leased one of those back in the day and they wanted 12k for me to buy it out at lease end. It was fun to rev out but the lack of torque down low was annoying.

Never kept a car long than 2 years (and I've had some good ones). I like this car so much it could stay forever. We shall see.

I have a 2014 2SS/RS 1LE that I love. Unfortunately I just found out it is being totaled from my insurance company due to storm damage. I am trying to find another one and in looking for the trifecta of 2SS / RS/ and 1LE they are not easy to find. I'm not saying that they are going to appreciate and make everyone that has one millionaires but I do think relative to other camaros they will hold much better value over the long run. People are starting to learn what a great car they are for the money and seek them out. The laws of supply and demand seldom waiver. I believe they will be fine until something far better can be had for far less. Not likely to happen for awhile. The 2017 will be better but not cheaper for awhile.

Saw a new 16 ss out in the wild today and while it looks fresh and is a good performer, I have to say our 1le's have more presence with an overall better look. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder but all I can say is I'm keeping this bad boy for a long time.

My 14 2SS 1LE is my favorite car of all time. There is something special about it. I just bought a C7, yet I still find myself going back to my 1LE. It just puts a bigger smile on my face. I have no clue what future value will be. But I suspect it won't drop as fast as the average car being so few were made. And it is truly a drivers car. Some of my previous cars include a GTS Viper, E46 M3, Multiple C5 Z06's, 03 Cobra, Evo 10, gen 4 Camaros, and so on. Non compare to the emotions my 1LE generates. I plan on keeping the 1LE. It perfectly nails a sick looking modern day muscel car, that sounds like a beast with the stock NPP and has great tech like the heads up display. But doesn't have crap DI or cylinder deactivation. Two things I Fing hate in my C7. Hell, after my wife drove it to work for the first time she texted me, "OMG I love this car". And she is not a car person. She said," it feels like it's stuck to the road". So just maybe with only a tick over 6 thousand gen 5 1LE's ever built they may just hold some value. I know it will with me!

Good call! Never thought of it. Now it's bugging me lol. I love the retro plates. Finally something ok came out of the CA DMV.

I put tinted tape on my side markers to make them blend in more.

Since there's a brand new 1LE coming up in summer, and since it's a better performing car (which is what many would care most for a track package), I personally don't see our cars being considered scarce or special : )

Yeah, and it's coming in a V6 too! Now that's "special".
