Exclamation Trifecta tune questions need answers

hey i finally got my bbk LT w/hi-flows headers and my magnaflow catback installed last Wednesday i finally got the CEL so i know that trifecta has a tune that shuts the CEL off. So i want to know that tune file file or whatever its called beacuse im going to get a local trifecta dealer to tune the car. I've been emailing the dealer about the tune heres the convo i had with him (start from the bottom and work your way up or just read the top message chose your pick)

Hi Aaron,

In the reply I got from Vince, there were not going to be any issue tuning your Camaro.

He also mentioned that it shouldn’t be any Check Engine Light, so before we go any further, you should make sure that the headers have all the proper sensors to match your engine and the ECM requirements.

In the meantime, I will email Vince once more to see if there’s something on our end to fix that.

Back to you when I hear back from Vince,
Steve

Hi Aaron,

I have emailed Vince to see what needs to be done.

I will get back to you as soon as I get a response from Trifecta.

Thx,
Steve

Just throwing this out there the CEL is very common with LTs. The trifecta tune will disable the CEL if it is selected. Based on what I have read he misunderstood the reason why the CEL was triggered

Well you don't say disable the check engine light directly. You disable the rear O2 sensors and that in turn will disable the engine light so long as the engine light you have was triggered by that.

He can turn the cel off with the trifecta software. No input from Vince needed.

The latest software from Trifecta will allow you to disable any CEL that is thrown. I had my tune updated from Vince about a month ago. When the new tune arrived the CEL code for the issue with the O2's was not turned off (Vince no longer does that, it is up to the customer to turn off CEL's). When the CEL is tripped, you need to read the code, then with the software connected you can turn that code off. Finally re-load the tune and enjoy.
