catless headers loud cold start fix?

I swear I remember reading about this somewhere that there was a way to calm down the loud cold starts with catless headers.

If I recall the fix was to change something under catalyst temps, but my mind is far too fuzzy to attempt making these changes without double checking.

Anyone know what those settings are and if it is "safe"?
