New Camaro Owner

Fixing to take delivery of 2023 2ss (sharkskin). Will be my first camaro! Been browsing the forum for a long time. What recommendations do you guys have for mods and care for the camaro? Thanks for all your input and advice in advance!

Skarkskin is a really nice color. My first suggestions for modifications would be the car payment mod or the driver mod. I wouldn't really spend time/money on anything else.

When mine comes in the first two things to do are ZL1addons rock guards and having the front of the car done with xpel ppf. After that just enjoy the car.

The only mod I'd suggest is one that will allow you to remove the permagrin you are going to have on your face you won't be able to get rid of. Enjoy and welcome to the Camaro club.

rock guards are the single most valuable thing you can do. In having a 1LE, Mustang before this, and other cars, mud flap is always job number 1 in my book.
Intake, exhaust, if youre in to those things go nicely on the car. Rotofab, and any of the axle back systems according to your personal taste.

Arpad is a fan of the Rokblokz rock guards. I have the ZL1 Addons rock guards. A third option is ACS rock guards.

Popular vendors include Phastek Performance and Wildhammer Motorsports. There are many others though.

I did ZL1 Addons Lift Pads, ACS Rock Guards, ACS ZL1 Rockers. Other than that, enjoy the fun.

As RamAir02 stated those are the three most common choices for rock guards. I have the third option he mentioned, ACS rock guards (and ZL1 style side skirts). I like them because they are molded to fit the car. They are the most expensive option of the three, but the best fitting in my opinion. I've had ZL1 Addons rock guards on other vehicles and they work great, but aren't molded to fit the vehicle.

One other thing about the ACS rock guards and side skirts is that they are designed to be used together if you want both. And you can purchase them directly from ACS. I'm very happy with them.
