Not to mention that GM never released the SEMA parts....if they ever will. They never even gave a date or detailed info.

Not I, nor will I. Not a fan of the grill mounted flowtie. I think Chevy got it right with the 2019’s.

I agree, I'm a big fan of the current car and would take one as is in a second. Thing is, a lot of people mentioned that it would be one of the first mods that they'd do to the car but yet no pics have surfaced :/

I met an owner of a white 2019 SS at Best Buy on Black Friday. He pretty much did this himself. He 3D printed a plug for the flowtie, wrapped the black section in white vinyl and used a small bowtie on the grille. He made it look way better than how it rolled off the assembly line.

You wouldn’t happen to have a picture of this by any chance?

I like the current car as well. The SS looks mean.

I like the new front end. When I saw pictures I was dismayed. Then I took my wife to the dealer and she went straight to the 19 and said, look they only have one left that looks nice! It was the only 19 on a sea of 18s. It’s ours now.

See this is where you're wrong.

GM has said NOTHING about it since SEMA, if it was going to be a 2020 thing, they would have mentioned it, or at least acknowledged it by now.

I have had my care for almost 2 weeks now and have never gotten more compliments in my life.

Everyone asks what it is, no one recognizes that it's a a Camaro because it looks that much different.

It's definitely a vocal minority that dislike it.

Somebody claimed to find evidence that the painted bumper insert would be an LPO orderable part. I can't find the original post anymore though. Rather not dig through the hot garbage fire that were the SS fascia threads, and even then, it's possible they could be wrong.

If you like it so much you bought one, good for you. But to instantly label a large portion of the forums as a "vocal minority" might not be totally correct. Polls don't lie, and if nothing else, those conducted by other sites and publications have consistently shown that the majority of outsiders didn't like how the 2019 SS front end looked.

The fact that you're admitting nobody recognizes it as a Camaro is kind of troubling to be honest. A mass-market car like the Camaro should have strong brand recognition even among non-enthusiasts. I'm not sure GM can afford to dismiss the low sales volume or to reconsider the Camaro as an exclusive enthusiast's car. There's not much margin for such a thing when the Corvette already exists and the market is changing so quickly.
